Software Updates
SAVV S.r.l. periodically releases cumulative update packages for its software products. A software update package may include new features and fixes. To proceed with the update you need to know the version of the software in use and its support status.
What is my software?
The update process depends on the version of the software in use. Therefore, before updating the software you need to know the version. If you do not know or you are unsure of the version of your software read this article. If you already know the version of your software you can proceed to the next step.
Are there updates for my software?
Updates are released for software products that are supported by SAVV S.r.l. For more information about the support status of SAVV S.r.l. software products click here. If your software is currently supported then updates may be available. If you are using a software that is no longer supported and for which, therefore, updates are not available we suggest that you get in touch with us for migrating to a more recent and functionally equivalent software product. Click here to contact SAVV S.r.l.
Note: The release of an update package for a given software product does not constitute automatic extension of its support period.

I'm using Datix Suite, Suite WEB or Datix RTS. How to update my software?
The update process includes the following steps:
1- identify the type of database (archive) in use and make a database backup,
2- update the software to latest version (over the internet or through uninstall/reinstall process).
What is the type of database used by my software, where is the database file located (path) and how to create a backup of the archive?
Here you can find instructions for locating the database of your software and creating a backup of the archive. If your software saves data to a database then make a backup copy of this database before updating the software.
Note: if your software does not use any database then the archive backup is not required.
